Construction Process
Are you excited to know about the stages involved in construction process?
Site Preparation & Soil Testing
Construction begins with preparing and clearing the site, with earth movement and levelling where needed. Once ready, the floor plan is staked out on site.
Foundation & Super Structure
Foundations are dug, caged and poured as per your structural engineer's specifications, "in slab" plumbing is laid, and the main concrete floor slab is poured.
Boundary Wall
After the slab is cured, work begins on the main structure. You will see the walls of your house rise from the slab and appear for the first time in front of your eyes.
Internal Electrical
Plumbing, electrical (including lights and power points) and other fixtures and fittings are installed, along with cornices, tiling, cabinets and shelving.
Internal & External Plastering
With the shell and roof ready, walls are covered with cement mortar. Electrical cables and plumbing are routed first, so points are planned well in advance.
Painting & Flooring
A five step process: clean walls and ceiling, apply primer, apply two coats of wall putty, then apply the selected paint coats to a perfect final finish.
Interior
Client consultation, schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration bring your interiors to life.
Final Finish
At "practical completion" you tour the property with the builder for a final inspection, and any remaining issues are discussed and addressed.
Handover
The moment you have been waiting for! The builder hands you the keys to your new home after addressing the issues raised during the final tour.
